Fiscal year
Sets where quarters and years break across the app. Currently ending September 30— so Q1 starts the following month and quarter/year columns on the P&L, Dashboard and Drivers re-align to it.
Forecast baseline — Jan–Mar 2026
These months were never budgeted, so their plan values were meaningless and skewed YTD Budget vs Actuals. When on, the budget mirrors the uploaded actuals for Jan–Mar 2026 and every forecast ramp / assumption impact starts at Apr 2026. As you close later months, the live forecast boundary keeps moving forward as usual.
Demo mode this browser only
For presenting to an audience. Every dollar figure — forecast, actuals, cash, comp — is multiplied by a fixed hidden factor, and people are replaced with stable pseudonyms. The app stays fully usable and internally consistent (totals foot, margins hold), but no real amount is shown. Ratios, % and headcount are left as-is so the model still adds up. Exports and the AI assistant are disabled while it’s on, since they’d bypass the display layer.
API access read-only
Let an external agent pull the model over HTTP. The app publishes a snapshot of the computed figures; the API serves exactly that, so an agent sees the same numbers the team does. Keys are read-only and shown only once.
How an agent uses it
Send the key as a bearer token. Base URL: /api/v1
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer pm_live_…" \ /api/v1/dashboard
Resources: index (discovery + freshness), dashboard, pnl, cash, drivers, headcount, bva, assumptions, all. All figures are CAD, consolidated, and reflect the last published snapshot.
Data management
Clear stored actuals (reverts every month to forecast) or wipe the audit trail.
